Laptop Safety

More and more we are hearing about fires from laptops. Leaving a laptop or other device charge while sitting on a bed or sofa is a dangerous idea. The vents on laptops get covered or blocked by blankets preventing much needed air flow for cooling. In this the laptop overheats and can damage the laptop and render it non-functioning. The worst is that it overheats catching the blankets or other items like papers sitting close from studying on the bed and in an instant there is a fire. Be safe, do not leave any device charging on a soft surface bed or sofa or chair. It is recommended to use a laptop cooling stand for safety reasons and to keep the laptop from basic overheat damage.
